The first change Xiaomi wanted to make with the Redmi Note 7 Pro is with the move to a Sony IMX586 imaging sensor as opposed to the Samsung ISOCELL GM1 which is used on the Redmi Note7. As such, you get a 48MP + 5MP rear camera setup which should be capable of slightly better photography compared to its predecessor. The front camera on this phone gets an upgrade to a 20MP sensor. Processing capabilities also see an improvement as you get a Snapdragon 710 SoC on the Note 7 Pro. This is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. As for software, the phone ships with Android 9.0 Pie out of the box.
